Design and Development

Our Design, Development and manufacturing service is second to none.

We have a design team at our disposal made up of a group of professionals with over 70 years of experience in Plastic Moulding; they have access to CAD Systems, Mouldflow  Analysis and 3-D  Printing.

Wyke Plastics experienced team work closely together to process a wide range of products and our Technical Specialists are available to advise and assist you to help meet your needs.

Injection Moulding

Wyke Plastics Limited is equipped with latest technology, microprocessor controlled Sandretto and Demag injection moulding machines.

We have available production capacity from 25t-300t with the majority of our machines equipped with a large range of ancillary equipment and robotics to maximise automation and efficiency.

Processes include the ability to produce bespoke logo inserts.

We also have an ongoing investment programme to achieve continuous improvement on both productivity and waste management.

Post Moulding

Wyke Plastics is equipped and prepared to handle post moulding and finishing operations at our customers request. Included are processes such as sorting, stacking, sub-assembly over moulding labelling, Pad printing, hot-foil printing and ultrasonic welding.

Stockholding

We pride ourselves on our simultaneous ability to offer customers extremely competitive prices and a first class service.

Most of our moulding machines are operational 24/7 enabling us to satisfy urgent order requirements when needed. It is also our policy to hold stock for our customers and operate a kan-ban system to meet customer expectations. Our next-day delivery services allow customers to hold low stock and be safe in the knowledge that production lines will never be left waiting.

Our client base includes Automotive manufacturers, Ministry of Defence suppliers and Medical supply chain partners to name but a few.

Toolmaking

Our Project Management team ensures that the most suitable toolmaker and material supplier is selected to work together with our design team from the initial development stage right through to production.

Wyke Plastics Limited are fortunate to have established some strong alliances with a number of trusted local toolmakers who can provide competitive quotations along with 3D modelling facilities for projects which are delivered on time and to budget.
